This is from church Sunday night ,
There’s a Bible verse where Jesus told the disciples, He said, “Blessed are you because you have seen things that prophets and kings desired to see and didn’t see, and yet you’ve seen.” Amen?
You have seen things that will transform the life and the heart of any person that sees them and understands them and will come. Okay? You’ve seen Jesus. You’ve seen the truth. You’ve seen the resurrection and the life. You’re life, though not perfect, has been changed and being transformed because you have seen. You know to be true what somebody else considers to be a fairy tale or a fantasy. Amen?
Can you imagine the difference that Jesus could have made to Timothy McVeigh? You know who that is, don’t you? Most people know who that is. Can you imagine the difference of Jesus, the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the light of life, all … the name above all names, Wonderful Savior, Mighty God, Prince of Peace … if he would have ran into Jesus? How many children would be alive and would be having children of their own right now? Amen?
That’s just one person , you say . If they choose Jesus, good for them; and if they don’t, they just go to hell … it won’t affect anybody else. That is insanity! I don’t know how long these two boys had been in the country. You hear all different numbers … eight, ten, twelve years … However long it’s been, isn’t it a shame they didn’t run across Jesus? Isn’t it a shame … that one out of the two didn’t run into Jesus? Amen?
You can take it and go with person after person after person. We’ll just go to Hitler. What if somebody … and we’ll use all three of the people we’ve said … four putting Hitler in with it … what if somebody would have got them into Vacation Bible School? Oh, there’s nothing really to that , you may say but Hitler meeting Jesus Could have stopped World War II! Look at the difference the power of God can make in somebody’s life. Look at the difference it’s making in yours. You say, “Look what a mess I’ve got” but where would you be without Him?! Amen?
What if one of them would have wondered into a Youth Group somewhere, when somebody was doing more than showing videos? Talking about whatever the current events were and teaching them about skateboards or some old silly crap to relate to them. They had serious issues. They wanted to kill and steal and destroy. Because the devil only comes to kill, steal and destroy.
They’re such good people. The Bible says there are no good people.
Speaker: No, not one.
Speaker 1: There are none. They’ll find God on their own. The Bible says there’s none that even seek after God. Amen?
Yet, He’s available to anybody. Amen? It’s so important that we not be muzzeled. Amen? And that almost rhymes with Muslim, doesn’t it? It almost rhymes with that. I didn’t say it was that, but it almost rhymes with that. That we not allow ourselves to be muzzled into sharing the thing that can protect your children and your grandchildren and your great-grandchildren, can affect the whole outcome of people’s lives. Because we still speak the truth of what somebody else thinks is a fairy tale and somebody else thinks is a fantasy and somebody else thinks is insanity, we know it to be the absolute truth … that Jesus died for me and He died for you.
If you’ll let Him in, He’ll change your life. You may not be a Mother Teresa but you won’t be a suicide bomber either! Amen? Amen! I’m serious. Amen!
May God Bless You !
